Η αυτοσυμπόνια και η συσχέτιση της με το σύνδρομο επαγγελματικής εξουθένωσης των νοσηλευτών (Master thesis)

Health professions have been identified as one of the main risk groups for the development of burnout. The objective of this study is to analyze if there is a relation between self-compassion and burnout in nursing profession. There were used two questionnaires for the study translated in Greek, the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) developed by Kristin Neff and the Burnout Inventory (MBI) developed by Christina Maslach. The participants were 214 male and female nurses from different areas in Greece. The results show that the level of burnout of nursing staff is negatively related to the level of self-compassion.

| Abstract: | Τα επαγγέλματα υγείας χαρακτηρίζονται ως υψηλού ρίσκου για την εμφάνιση του συνδρόμου επαγγελματικής εξουθένωσης. Σκοπός αυτής της έρευνας είναι η διερεύνηση της σχέσης της αυτοσυμπόνιας με το σύνδρομο επαγγελματικής εξουθένωσης στον κλάδο των νοσηλευτών. Χρησιμοποιήθηκαν δυο ερωτηματολόγια για την έρευνα μεταφρασμένα στα ελληνικά, η κλίμακα αυτοσυμπόνιας (Self-compassion scale-SCS) της Kristin Neff και το ερωτηματολόγιο επαγγελματικής εξουθένωσης (Burnout Inventory-MBI) της Christina Maslach. Στην έρευνα πήραν μέρος συνολικά 214 νοσηλευτές και νοσηλεύτριες από διάφορες περιοχές της Ελλάδας. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας έδειξαν πως υπάρχει σχέση αναμεταξύ της αυτοσυμπόνιας και του συνδρόμου επαγγελματικής εξουθένωσης η οποία είναι αρνητική.
