The subject of this project is the documentation and analysis of the enemies and diseases appearing in ornamental plants. Aim of this project is the best possible approach of the factors consisting obstacles in the development of ornamental plants.
The study subject is a wide range of plants that thrive in Greece, while a vast reference is made on the most significant and usual enemies and diseases, as well as their treatment. Finally, a series of experiments on ornamental plants was conducted, while using biological methods on natural environment, in order to find the best and more economical treatment.

| Abstract: | Θέμα της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας «Εχθροί και Ασθένειες Καλλωπιστικών Φυτών» είναι η καταγραφή και η ανάλυση των εχθρών και των ασθενειών που εντοπίζονται στα καλλωπιστικά φυτά. Στόχος είναι η καλύτερη δυνατή προσέγγιση των παραγόντων που αποτελούν τροχοπέδη στην ανάπτυξη των καλλωπιστικών φυτών.
Αντικείμενο μελέτης αποτελεί ένα μεγάλο εύρος φυτών που ευδοκιμούν στην Ελλάδα, ενώ γίνεται και εκτενής αναφορά στους σημαντικότερους και πιο συχνούς εχθρούς και ασθένειες, καθώς και στην καταπολέμησή τους. Τέλος, πραγματοποιήθηκαν πειράματα σε καλλωπιστικά φυτά με βιολογικές μεθόδους, σε φυσικό χώρο, με σκοπό την εύρεση της καλύτερης και ταυτόχρονα πιο οικονομικά συμφέρουσας.
