| heal.abstract | Η οστεοαρθρίτιδα είναι μία πάθηση που επηρεάζει τις αρθρώσεις προκαλώντας πόνο και ακαμψία. Οι αρθρώσεις που προσβάλλονται συχνότερα είναι αυτές του ισχίου, του γόνατου και των δακτύλων των χεριών. Η ολική αρθροπλαστική γόνατος είναι μια πιο πολύ διαδεδομένη χειρουργική επέμβαση. Μειώνει τον πόνο στους περισσότερους ασθενείς, αλλά δεν επιλύει πολλούς και σημαντικούς λειτουργικούς περιορισμούς. Η ολική αρθροπλαστική του γόνατος διενεργείται όταν η άρθρωση είναι βαριά αλλοιωμένη από την οστεοαρθρίτιδα και άλλες παθήσεις. Αναλόγως της υποκείμενης πάθησης και της έκτασης της βλάβης επιλέγεται και το κατάλληλο εμφύτευμα . Οι γενικοί στόχοι της φυσικοθεραπευτικής αποκατάστασης μετά από ολική αρθροπλαστική γόνατος είναι η μείωση του πόνου στο χειρουργημένο γόνατο, η επίτευξη λειτουργικού εύρους κίνησης, η ανεξάρτητη κίνηση στο χώρο και η μείωση των περιορισμών στις διάφορες λειτουργίες του ασθενή. Η πρώιμη και πιο επιθετική φυσιοθεραπεία μετά την επέμβαση αυξάνει την ανάρρωση. Δεν είναι γνωστό, όμως, ακόμη πιο τύπος ασκήσεων είναι ο καλύτερος για κάθε ασθενή. | el |

The most commonly affected joints are those of the hip, the knee the fingers of the hands Total knee arthroplasty is very widespread surgery. It decreases pain in most patients, but do not resolve many of the considerable functional limitation Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is performed when the knee joint is severely damaged in osteoarthritis and other diseases. Depending on the underlying disease and the extent of destruction of the knee joint, a prosthesis is selected. The general goals of providing physical rehabilitation after total knee arthroplasty are to reduce pain in the operated knee, achieve functional range of motion, achieve independent moving about, and decrease activity limitations. Earlier and more intensive physiotherapy exercise after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) enhance recovery.
