Οργάνωση των υπηρεσιών υγείας από την ίδρυση του ελληνικού κράτους (Master thesis)

The implementation of a healthcare system in Greece dates back to the period of Otto's rule. Then some first bases for that started to be laid. The period until the mid-1920s was marked by efforts that had to overcome the obstacles of scarcity of resources for these reforms but also due to the continued involvement of the country in various military wars and situations that brought the country to great difficulties. . The period that began with the country's economic restructuring, after a decade of wars and civil strife (1940-1950), began the first serious, albeit incomplete, efforts at serious health reform. rooted in a context expressing the philosophy of the then government and creating a comprehensive Health Care Program. This framework, in addition to all the other institutions that it brought to the economic and social life of the Greeks, included an important parameter concerning integrated health care as an exclusive right of the state. Subsequent developments have changed this direction.

| Abstract: | Η ανάπτυξη των υγειονομικών υπηρεσιών στην Ελλάδα ξεκίνησε την περίοδο που ανατέθηκε η διακυβέρνηση της χώρας στον Όθωνα. Τότε ξεκίνησαν να τεθούν κάποιες πρώτες βάσεις για αυτό το ζήτημα. Η περίοδος μέχρι τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του 1920 χαρακτηρίζεται από προσπάθειες οι οποίες όμως έπρεπε να ξεπεράσουν τα εμπόδια της έλλειψης πόρων για αυτές τις μεταρρυθμίσεις αλλά λόγω και της συνεχούς διάρκειας εμπλοκής της χώρας σε διάφορους στρατιωτικούς πολέμους και καταστάσεις που έφερναν την χώρα προ πολύ μεγάλων προβλημάτων. Η περίοδος η οποία ξεκίνησε μαζί με την οικονομική αναδιάρθρωση της χώρας, μετά από μια δεκαετία πολέμων και Εμφύλιας Σύρραξης (1940-1950), ξεκίνησε τις πρώτες σοβαρές, αν έστω και ελλιπείς προσπάθειες σοβαρής υγειονομικής μεταρρύθμισης, Η περίοδος μετά το 1981 είναι αυτή που έβαλε τις ρίζες πάνω σε ένα πλαίσιο εκφράζοντας τη φιλοσοφία της τότε κυβέρνησης και δημιουργώντας ένα ολοκληρωμένο πρόγραμμα Υγειονομικής Περίθαλψης. Αυτό το πλαίσιο εκτός όλων των άλλων θεσμών που έφερε στην κοινωνική και οικονομική ζωή των Ελλήνων, περιελάβανε μια σημαντική παράμετρο που αφορούσε την ολοκληρωμένη Υγειονομική φροντίδα ως αποκλειστικό δικαίωμα του κράτους.
