The thesis deals with the digitization and the archival description of the individual files of dock workers who worked in the Free Zone of Thessaloniki, formerly the Thessaloniki Port Authority during the period 1950-1980. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the process of digitization and archival description of files.
In this thesis is presented in detail and methodically, the process of archival description of the material according to ISAD field by field, as well as the analysis of the archival works of the Historical Archive OLTH. In particular, 327 ISAD slips are imported, which are divided into folders according to the initial letter of the last name of each dock
worker and are estimated at approximately 30,000 digitized pages.

| Abstract: | Η εργασία έχει θέμα την ψηφιοποίηση και την αρχειακή περιγραφή των ατομικών φακέλων λιμενεργατών που εργάστηκαν στην Ελευθέρα Ζώνη Θεσσαλονίκης τέως Οργανισμός Λιμένος Θεσσαλονίκης κατά την περίοδο 1950-1980. Σκοπός αυτής της πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι να αναλυθεί η διαδικασία της ψηφιοποίησης, όπως
πραγματοποιήθηκε και της αρχειακής περιγραφής των φακέλων των λιμενεργατών.
Στην παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία παρουσιάζεται διεξοδικά και μεθοδικά, η διαδικασία της αρχειακής περιγραφής του υλικού σύμφωνα με το διεθνές πρότυπο ΔΙΠΑΠ,
καθώς και η παρουσίαση των αρχειακών εργασιών του Ιστορικού Αρχείου ΟΛΘ και η ψηφιοποίηση των φακέλων. Ειδικότερα, δημιουργούνται 327 δελτία κατά ΔΙΠΑΠ, σύμφωνα με τους αρχειακούς φακέλους. Σημειώνεται ότι η ταξινόμηση είναι αλφαβητική, με βάση το
επίθετο του κάθε λιμενεργάτη. Επιπλέον, έχουν ψηφιοποιηθεί περίπου 30.000 σελίδες, που εντάσσονται στους φακέλους που περιγράφηκαν.
