The bioclimatic house is a building that takes advantage of natural factors so that it is environmentally friendly and more economical than a conventional house. The first chapter deals with the definitions and basic principles of environmental and bioclimatic buildings as well as the relationship between them. In addition, reference is made to the concepts of natural - structured environment, environmental pollution and radon. Also in this chapter are examples of bioclimatic architecture in Greece and Europe and a brief historical review. The second chapter refers to climate change, the climate of Greece and in particular refers to the climate of Mykonos. The third chapter examines the legislation, the building conditions of the area and presents the exact location of the plot where the building is located. The fourth chapter presents photographs of the existing building, its drawings and a brief description of the characteristics of the building. The fifth chapter analyzes all the possible ways to improve a building in terms of waste management, heating, cooling, ventilation, solar, shading and lighting. In the sixth chapter, only the possible ways and building materials that will be used to improve the selected building and the environmental classification of the building are selected and described. The seventh and final chapter analyzes the cost of building and using a bioclimatic building and describes its energy efficiency before and after its renovation. Finally, reference is made to the advantages and disadvantages of the bioclimatic building over the conventional one and the conclusions are mentioned.
