The
purpose of this dissertation is the effect of beauty on human psychology.
Reference is made to the beauty standards where they exist by cultures and how they also act
on their psychology and self confidence. It is pointed out how Covid 19 managed to affect
the aesthe tics industry and consequently the mental health of people. Undoubtedly, make up
techniques, aesthetic facial treatments, body treatments and even the colors used in the make
up can raise everyone's self confidence. Especially when it comes to skin disease s where it is
a little more difficult to deal with their external image but again the beautician can help
improve their appearance. The very important work of aesthetic interventions in the
psychology of people with problems is mentioned. In conclusion, th ere is a plethora of
research proving the association of psychology with aesthetics and how the latter affects the
human psychic world.

| Abstract: | Σκοπός
της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη της επίδραση ς της ομορφιάς
στην ψυχολογία του ανθρώπου. Γίνεται αναφορά στα πρότυπα και πώς και αυτά δρουν στην
ενίσχυση της αυτοεκτίμησης και της αυτοπεποίθησης το υ αν θρώπου. Επισημαίνεται πώς ο
Covid 19 κατάφερε να επηρεάσει τον κλάδο της αισθητικής και κατά συνέπεια την ψυχική
υγεία του καθένα Α ν α μ φ ι σ β ή τ η τ α τεχνικές μακιγιάζ, αισθητικές περιποιήσεις προσώπου,
περιποιήσεις σώματος αλλά ακόμη και τα χρώματα που χρησιμοποιούνται στο μακιγιάζ
μπορούν να ανεβάσουν την αυτοπεποίθηση του καθένα. Επιπλέον η συμβολή το υ αισθητικο ύ
στην βελτίωση της εξωτερικής εικόνας ατόμων με δερματικές παθήσεις ενισχύει την εμφ ά νιση
τους Αναφέρεται το πολύ σημαντικό έργο των αισθητικών παρεμβάσεων στην ψυχολογία
ατόμων με προβλήματα. Συμπερασματικά, υπάρχει πληθώρα ερευνών όπου αποδεικνύουν την
