Introduction: Immigration is a modern issue of our time and employs both countries abroad and Greece. The increased number of immigrants, as well as Roma disrupts the balances with the native population due to their peculiarities at a cultural level. This is a challenge for health professionals, especially for nursing staff in providing care, who are invited to eliminate any discrimination, and to respect the cultural identity of the particular population group. Purpose: The purpose of this paper was to study the attitudes of health professionals when providing care for Immigrants and Roma of the General Hospital of Florina. Materials and Methods: The sample of the study accounted for 151 Health Professionals of the General Hospital of Florina. For the purpose of the study, questionnaires related to the attitudes and perceptions of health professionals on migrant and Roma care were used, which were distributed and completed in electronic form. For the analysis of the results SPSS 25 statistical package was used. Results: The education of health professionals on issues related to the provision of health services to immigrants and Roma, sensitizes professionals and leads to the formation of a positive attitude towards them. Intercultural seminars create respect for cultural peculiarities and equal treatment of alien patients, and contribute to improving verbal communication and anxiety management. Conclusions: Most of the health professionals are positively predisposed of providing health services to immigrants and Roma, especially those with a high level of education and have attended a seminar on intercultural education. This makes it imperative to strengthen the education of health professionals on issues related to the provision of health services in an intercultural environment.
