The subject of this work is the plant protection of the olive tree in Chania, which was studied
both by the method of literature review and research on their problems and solutions in this
area. Initially, the requirements of the olive as a crop, its varieties and characteristics are presented. Then you follow the plant protection of the olive from insects-enemies and diseases by controlling them and finally, looking research olives in every respect in the prefecture of Chania.

| Abstract: | Αντικείμενο της παρούσας εργασίας αποτελεί η φυτοπροστασία της ελιάς στα Χανιά, η οποία μελετήθηκε τόσο με τη μέθοδο της βιβλιογραφικής ανασκόπησης όσο και ερευνητικά για τα προβλήματα και τις λύσεις τους στην συγκεκριμένη περιοχή. Αρχικά, παρουσιάζονται οι απαιτήσεις της ελιάς σαν καλλιέργεια, οι ποικιλίες και τα χαρακτηριστικά της. Στην συνέχεια ακολουθείτε η φυτοπροστασία της ελιάς από έντομα-εχθρούς και ασθένειες με την
καταπολέμηση τους και τέλος εξετάζουμε ερευνητικά την ελιά από κάθε άποψη στον νομό Χανιών.
