| heal.abstract | Στη σημερινή εποχή, ενώ υπάρχει τεράστια τεχνολογική εξέλιξη και αναβάθμιση, δεν δίνεται η δέουσα προσοχή στην προστασία του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος. Το αστικό πράσινο συνιστά στην ουσία το μέσο μέσω του οποίου οι πολίτες μιας περιοχής έρχονται σε άμεση επαφή με το φυσικό περιβάλλον, που τους πλαισιώνει. Αποτελεί στην πραγματικότητα τον χώρο, του οποίου τις παροχές έχει τη δυνατότητα να απολαύσει ο κάθε πολίτης, καθώς αυτές δεν παρέχονται από το δομημένο περιβάλλον. Η απουσία πράσινων υποδομών αποτελεί μεγάλη απειλή τόσο για το αστικό κλίμα, όσο και για τα ποικίλα οικοσυστήματα, καθώς δύναται να έχει σημαντική επιρροή στην εικόνα μιας περιοχής, αλλά και στις συνθήκες διαβίωσης των ανθρώπων σε αυτήν (Van den Berg. et al., 2010). Οι πόλεις στις μέρες μας συνιστούν δυναμικά συστήματα, τα οποία επιχειρούν διαρκώς να ανταποκρίνονται στις μεταβολές που ανακύπτουν. Στη σύγχρονη παγκοσμιοποιημένη εποχή, η οποία επηρεάζει σε μεγάλο βαθμό το φυσικό και το δομημένο περιβάλλον, οι πόλεις έχουν την τάση να εφαρμόζουν αποτελεσματικές πρακτικές βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης. Ένας τρόπος για να αντιμετωπίσουν άρα αποδοτικά τις εν λόγω μεγάλες προκλήσεις είναι η Πράσινη Υποδομή. Η βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη με άλλα λόγια ενέχει καθοριστική επίδραση στη διαμόρφωση τακτικών, που εστιάζουν στο περιβάλλον και το θεωρούν σαν πολύτιμη πηγή αγαθών και υπηρεσιών. Θεωρείται συνεπώς απαραίτητη η ανάγκη υιοθέτησης μερικών χρήσιμων κριτηρίων στην υλοποίηση της σχεδιαστικής στρατηγικής, αλλά και στη λήψη σπουδαίων αποφάσεων, προκειμένου τα κτήρια, είτε δημόσια, είτε ιδιωτικά, να έχουν λιγότερες αρνητικές επιπτώσεις στον άνθρωπο και στο περιβάλλον και να χαρακτηρίζονται σε γενικές γραμμές πιο αναβαθμισμένα στο κομμάτι αυτό (Owens & Cowell, 2011). Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας επομένως είναι να προσεγγίσει την έννοια του αστικού περιβάλλοντος και των πράσινων υποδομών και στο πώς συμβάλλουν θετικά στην ποιότητα ζωής των ανθρώπων, αλλά και στην εξασφάλιση της βιωσιμότητας στα πλαίσια του αστικού ιστού. Επίσης, στη συγκεκριμένη εργασία, θα αναφερθούμε και στις ενέργειες αναβάθμισης των δημόσιων υποδομών, στα πλαίσια της αειφόρου ανάπτυξης και του βιώσιμου σχεδιασμού | el |
| heal.abstract | In today's era, while there is huge technological development and upgrading, due attention is not given to the protection of the natural environment. Urban green space is essentially the means through which the citizens of an area come into direct contact with the natural environment that surrounds them. It is in fact the space, the benefits of which every citizen has the opportunity to enjoy, as these are not provided by the built environment. The absence of green infrastructure is a great threat both to the urban climate and to the various ecosystems, as it can have a significant influence on the image of an area, but also on the living conditions of people in it (Van den Berg. et al., 2010). Cities today are dynamic systems, which are constantly trying to respond to the changes that arise. In the modern globalized era, which greatly affects the natural and built environment, cities tend to implement effective sustainable development practices. One way to effectively deal with these big challenges is Green Infrastructure. Sustainable development in other words has a decisive influence on the formation of tactics, which focus on the environment and consider it as a valuable source of goods and services. It is therefore considered necessary to adopt some useful criteria in the implementation of the design strategy, but also in making important decisions, in order for the buildings, whether public or private, to have less negative effects on people and the environment and to be generally characterized as more upgraded in this direction (Owens & Cowell, 2011). The purpose of this work is therefore to approach the concept of the urban environment and green infrastructures and how they contribute positively to the quality of life of people, but also to ensure sustainability within the context of the urban fabric.
