The hospitality industry is one of the most developing industries and one of the most efficient industries in the world and locally. This paper deals with the hospitality industry in Greece. The purpose of this dissertation is to identify all the obstacles faced by the Greek hospitality industry in recent years as well as the opportunities that will help the industry develop. The challenges that the hospitality industry in Greece has faced and facing nowadays are many and solutions must be found so that the challenges the hospitality faces will not cut off the development of the hospitality industry in Greece so far. The benefits that come from the hospitality industry in Greece are many, especially during the period when the hospitality industry is flourishing in the country. In order to carry out the above, it is customary to review the literature so far, in order to identify the way in which the hospitality industry through tourism in Greece has evolved, the obstacles it has encountered and what the current situation is, so as to find all the challenges it faced, the opportunities that will bring positive results in the country in the future, as well as the benefits. For the research part of the thesis, a questionnaire was used as a primary research tool. The questions were addressed to participants who are related to the hospitality industry in Greece, and through the questions an attempt was made to identify the participants' opinion on the challenges and new opportunities in the hospitality industry in Greece these recent years. The individuals that were selected for the research by taking a sample of them, the total responses were 68 and statistical analysis was performed in order to determine the accuracy of the results
