Εφαρμογές της 3D εκτύπωσης στην προσχολική εκπαίδευση: μελέτη περίπτωσης στο νηπιαγωγείο (Master thesis)

This thesis aims at the introduction of 3D printing in the kindergarten area by
making use of the techniques it offers. It investigates the characteristics, which
according to the opinion of the children, are considered suitable for the objects printed
with the help of a 3D printer. It is presented through the literature review, the
definition and characteristics of 3D printing, its applications in education with the
positive and negative elements that have emerged, as well as the corresponding
research. Preschool education, the kindergarten program, the STE(A)M approach are
also analyzed. Finally, the connection between the three parameters is made. The
methodology follows with the aims and objectives and is examined how the research
was designed and developed. The conclusions reached along with the proposals for
future research are presented in detail.
From the final results, it follows that 3D printing can offer many a lot through
its applications in the field of education. In any case, children must be at the center
and become the majors “researchers” so that conclusions can be drawn based on their
needs and beliefs.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία στοχεύει στην εισαγωγή της τρισδιάστατης
εκτύπωσης στο χώρο του νηπιαγωγείο με την αξιοποίηση των τεχνικών που αυτή
προσφέρει. Διερευνώνται εκείνα τα χαρακτηριστικά, τα οποία σύμφωνα με τη γνώμη
των παιδιών, κρίνονται κατάλληλα για τα αντικείμενα που εκτυπώνονται μέσω ενός
τρισδιάστατου εκτυπωτή. Η βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση παρουσιάζει, τον ορισμό και
τα χαρακτηριστικά της τρισδιάστατης εκτύπωσης, τις εφαρμογές της στην
εκπαίδευση με τα θετικά και τα αρνητικά στοιχεία που έχουν προκύψει, όπως και τις
αντίστοιχες έρευνες. Σε δεύτερο χρόνο, αναλύεται η προσχολική εκπαίδευση και το
πρόγραμμα του νηπιαγωγείου μαζί με την προσέγγιση STE(A)M και γίνεται η
σύνδεση μεταξύ των τριών παραμέτρων. Στη συνέχεια, παρουσιάζεται αναλυτικά η
μεθοδολογία που ακολουθήθηκε με τους σκοπούς και τους στόχους, πως σχεδιάστηκε
και πως αναπτύχθηκε το ερευνητικό κομμάτι, τα συμπεράσματα στα οποία κατέληξε
μαζί με τις προτάσεις για μελλοντική έρευνα.
Από τα τελικά αποτελέσματα προκύπτει πως η τρισδιάστατη εκτύπωση μπορεί να
προσφέρει πολλά μέσα από τις εφαρμογές της στο χώρο της εκπαίδευσης. Σε κάθε
περίπτωση τα παιδιά πρέπει να είναι στο επίκεντρο και οι βασικοί «ερευνητές» ώστε
