echnology is crucial in our lives in today's world. It has infiltrated every aspect of it,
becoming an integral part of our routine and an essential companion on our journey. It
has helped us to evolve and simplify our daily lives (R. Raja and P. Nagasubramani,
2018). At the same time, it has helped to chan ge the educational process, giving both
teachers and students more learning opportunities (Abhipriya Roy, 2019). Therefore, in
this paper, digital storytelling was used as a modern technological tool to help
preschool children learn about the phenomenon o f bullying, cultivate the emotions
that are provoked by this problem, develop their empathy and be able to deal with
similar incidents that may occur in the future. Bullying is a global issue (Smart et al,
1999) that requires multi faceted solutions and th rough the collaboration digital
storytelling develops, it offers a powerful and transformative approach to combating
bullying, promoting empathy, inspiring change and empowering victims (Thompson
2014). The images, videos and sounds used in digital narrati ves create a more engaging
story (Robin, 2005), thereby capturing the interest of the audience (Alismail, 2015).
The digital storytelling tool used to implement the research component is PowerPoint
and the results are obtained through observation and quest ionnaires administered to 8
kindergarten students before and after the activity.

| Abstract: | Η τεχνολογία τη σημερινή εποχή είναι μέρος της ζωής μας. Έχει διεισδύσει σε κάθε πτυχή της, αποτελώντας αναπόσπαστο μέρος της ρουτίνας μας και ουσιαστικό σύντροφο στο ταξίδι μας. Μας έχει βοηθήσει να εξελίξουμε και να απλοποιήσουμε την καθημερινότητά μας (R. Raja and P. Nagasubramani, 2018). Την ίδια στιγμή, έχει συμβάλλει στο να αλλάξει η εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία, δίνοντας τόσο στους εκπαιδευτικούς όσο και στους μαθητές, περισσότερες ευκαιρίες μάθησης (Abhipriya Roy, 2019). Γι΄ αυτό και σε αυτή την εργασία, χρησιμοποιούμε την ψηφιακή αφήγηση, ως ένα σύγχρονο τεχνολογικό εργαλείο, ώστε να βοηθήσουμε παιδιά προσχολικής ηλικίας να γνωρίσουν το φαινόμενο του εκφοβισμού, να καλλιεργήσουν τα συναισθήματα που προκύπτουν από αυτό το πρόβλημα, να αναπτύξουν την ενσυναίσθησή τους και να μπορούν να αντιμετωπίσουν ανάλογα περιστατικά που μπορεί να συμβούν στο μέλλον. Ο εκφοβισμός είναι ένα παγκόσμιο θέμα (Smart et al, 1999) που απαιτεί πολύπλευρες λύσεις και η ψηφιακή αφήγηση, μέσα από τη συνεργασία που αναπτύσσει, προσφέρει μια ισχυρή και μετασχηματιστική προσέγγιση για την καταπολέμηση του εκφοβισμού, την προώθηση της ενσυναίσθησης, την έμπνευση για αλλαγή και την ενδυνάμωση των θυμάτων (Thompson 2014). Οι εικόνες, τα βίντεο και οι ήχοι που χρησιμοποιούνται στις ψηφιακές αφηγήσεις δημιουργούν μια πιο ελκυστική ιστορία (RobinRobin, 2005), προσελκύοντας μ’ αυτόν τον τρόπο το ενδιαφέρον του κοινού (AlismailAlismail, 2015). Το εργαλείο ψηφιακής αφήγησης με το οποίο υλοποιείται το ερευνητικό κομμάτι είναι το PowerPoint και τα αποτελέσματα προέρχονται μέσα από τη μέθοδο της παρατήρησης και των ερωτηματολογίων που γίνονται σε 8 μαθητές νηπιαγωγείου, πριν και μετά τη δράση.
