In the context of this thesis, the effect of basic fertilization on the cultivation of industrial pepper was studied. Industrial pepper is a special crop as the cost of fertilizers and labor is particularly high. In this context, we tried to study whether the reduction of fertilizers can make the crop more profitable. To carry out the experiment, identical pepper plants were used which were divided into four different groups according to the basic fertilization they received. Specifically, in one row only organic fertilization was applied, in the second row only inorganic fertilization was applied, in the third row a combination of organic and inorganic fertilization was applied, while in the fourth row no basic fertilization was applied (control). During the experiment, measurements were conducted every five days. Equal amounts of fertilization were also applied to all rows for better plant growth. The results showed that the types of fertilizers applied in basic fertilization did not affect plant growth as much despite the total initial difference in height. Both flowering and fruiting showed no significant differences. A repetition of the experiment is advised so even better conclusions could be drawn about whether the basic fertilization plays an important role.
