dc.description.abstractΟι ανάγκες των χρηστών για έρευνα και μελέτη συνεχώς αυξάνονται με αποτέλεσμα οι υπηρεσίες που παρέχονται να μην τους ικανοποιούν πλήρως και έτσι οι βιβλιοθήκες να προσπαθούν μέσα από την αξιολόγηση των υπηρεσιών τους να εντοπίσουν σε ποιους τομείς υστερούν ώστε να βελτιώσουν τις υπηρεσίες. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι να παρουσιάσει την Βιβλιοθήκη της Πολυτεχνικής Σχολής του Δημοκρίτειου Πανεπιστημίου Θράκης, να μελετήσει τις υπηρεσίες και τις ανάγκες της αλλά και να δώσει λύσεις και προτάσεις για βελτίωση και αναδιοργάνωση της βιβλιοθήκης. Το μέσο που επιλέχθηκε για την συγκέντρωση υλικού είναι το ερωτηματολόγιο το οποίο διανεμήθηκε σε 100 χρήστες της βιβλιοθήκης ως δείγμα. Τα αποτελέσματα που προέκυψαν από την έρευνα θα ήταν χρήσιμο να αξιοποιηθούν κατάλληλα από την βιβλιοθήκη έτσι ώστε να βελτιωθεί επαρκώς σύμφωνα με τις ανάγκες των χρηστών.el
dc.description.abstractThe user needs for research and study constantly increase so the services provided does not fully satisfy them, so libraries try through evaluation of their services to identify which areas are lagging behind and to improve their services. The purpose of this paper is to present the Library of the Faculty of Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace, to study the Library services and needs in order to provide solutions and suggestions for improvement and reorganization of the library. The chosen research tool for the material concentration is the questionnaire which was distributed to 100 library users as a sample. The results from the research will may be used appropriately by the library in order to improve sufficiently to the users needs.el
