Παρουσίαση της Ακαδημαϊκής Βιβλιοθήκης του ΤΕΙ Σερρών

Abstract

Η Βιβλιοθήκη του ΤΕΙ Σερρών, είναι ακαδημαϊκή και άρχισε να λειτουργεί από το 1985 ως δανειστική βιβλιοθήκη. Προσπαθεί να συμβάλλει στην πνευματική και κοινωνική ανάπτυξη και πρόοδο των φοιτητών και του ακαδημαϊκού προσωπικού. Αυτό επιτυγχάνεται μέσα από τη συλλογή υλικού και πληροφοριών, καθορίζοντας τις προϋποθέσεις που επιτρέπουν την άμεση πρόσβαση στη συλλογή και την ενθάρρυνση της ορθής χρήσης του υλικού που διατίθεται σε αυτή την βιβλιοθήκη, καθώς και του υλικού που βρίσκεται σε απομακρυσμένες πηγές. Επίσης, συμβάλλει ουσιαστικά στην πολιτιστική και πνευματική αναβάθμιση του Νομού Σερρών. Η εργασία παρουσιάζει την βιβλιοθήκη του ΤΕΙ Σερρών, η οποία αναπτύσσεται με γρήγορους ρυθμούς, με στόχο να γίνει πρότυπο βιβλιοθήκης στον ελληνικό ακαδημαϊκό χώρο.

The academic library of the Technological Educational Institute of Serres was founded as a borrowing library in 1985. The aims of the Library are in accordance with those of the Institute. Thus, the Library is trying to contribute to the intellectual and social development and progress of students and the academic staff. This is achieved through collecting material and information, establishing the conditions that enable the immediate access to the collection and encouraging the proper use of material available in this Library, as well as of material found in remote sources. Also contributes significantly to the cultural and spiritual improvement of Serres. The paper presents the library of TEI Serres, which is growing rapidly, with a goal to become a model library in Greek academia.
