The subject of this diploma thesis is the study of the smart campus and a detailed description of the benefits that are provided not only at the student but also at the environment.The initial reference to the general concept of smart buildings and the deepening of the vision of a campus with intelligence is the purpose of this work. In order to be able to study the intelligent university, knowledge from several scientific fields must be combined. In the framework of this work, all the necessary meanings for the understanding of the subject will be briefly described.
