This paper describes not only the ways in which primary haemostasis can be checked but
also basic knowledge about blood and haemostasis which are necessary in order to
understand the mechanism and then the way in which it is controlled at the laboratory.
Also, reference is made to diseases of primary haemostasis, as it is necessary in order to
inspect the proper function of haemostasis, and handle pathological conditions
