Κατασκευή και έλεγχος μπάλας σε πλάκα (Bachelor thesis)

The main purpose of this particular thesis is to maintain the balance of a ball on a
wooden surface. This was achieved through the following procedure. A camera, which
detects the exact coordinates of the ball was placed over that wooden surface and sends
this information to visual studio via USB. At that visual studio software, is where the
information is processed as well as the PID calculation. Later on, those PID calculations
are sent at IDE Arduino software via the IDE software, the Arduino is programmed to
guide the servo motors so the ball can maintain its balance. At the thesis, is also
mentioned some basic information, like what exactly is the ball on plate phenomenon,
as well as some of its software and hardware of the operation of the thesis are
mentioned. Finally, some conclusions are reported as well as future ways of
improvement
