The present dissertation focuses on aesthetic facial treatments, depending on the age and gender of people. In particular, reference was made to the anatomy of the skin as well as the skin types according to the features they present. Next, it was necessary to clarify the changes that the skin of a person undergoes according to age, life stages, and its different evolution in relation to the sex. Then, the methods for daily care, peeling, facial massage, various masks and electrotherapy are analyzed, as well as the beneficial effects of these methods to ensure a healthy and clear skin. The enhancement of the above view is complemented by the reference to new methods of aesthetic facial treatment, which are hyaluronic acid treatment, dermabrasion, mesotherapy, oxygen therapy, cryotherapy, cosmetic acupuncture and new ingredients in cosmetic products.
