Υιοθέτηση και Εφαρμογή Καινοτόμου Διδακτικής Μεθοδολογίας με την χρήση Τ.Π.Ε. στο μάθημα της Ηλεκτροτεχνίας (Master thesis)

This diploma thesis was developed within the postgraduate study program "organization
and management of educational units" of the business administration department of the
Alexandrio Technological Institute during the spring semester of the academic year 2017-18.
The subject of the course is the adoption and application of an innovative teaching method
in the laboratory of the subject of electrotechnics, direct and Alternative Current Circuits for
Class B and Laboratory of Electrotechnics and Electrical Machines for the 3rd grade), using
the Edison software to simulate electrical circuits related to the course material , which is
taught both in the B and the 3rd grade in the field of electrical, electronics and automation of
the Professional Lyceum, with the aim of assessing the user-friendliness of the software by
the students.
It should be stressed that Edison software was not chosen accidentally, since it has the
approval of the Pedagogical Institute, with a clear indication of suitability for educational
activities.
According to Antipas and Panagopoulos (2017), the introduction of an innovation into the
education system is an attempt to change the conditions to deal with problems that have
already been created and found, but it can also be a renewal effort that has become necessary,
resulting from newly created needs or problems that have arisen, but also because of the
complexity of the didactic work where there is an ambiguity between the action and the
outcome.
The need to introduce innovations in the educational process of the cognitive field of the
laboratory part of electrical engineering is easily confirmed by the above, since in the
academic year 2015-16 the violent unification of the electrical and electronics sector that took
place in the professional sector Lyceums "changing conditions", following Ministerial Decree
96004 / D4 / 1-7-2015 (Government Gazette 1318), it created great problems primarily in the
way of teaching the particular subject with the involvement of the teaching subject and,
secondly, in the logistic infrastructure of the workshops of the sectors, which until recently
was different in each sector "newly created needs and problems".
The time for implementation of the thesis is between September and May of the academic
year 2017 - 2018
