This Diploma Thesis is titled "The Role of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Secondary Education through Children's Virtual Enterprises". The aim of the work is to investigate the meaning of developing virtual enterprises in secondary education as well as to determine their educational impact on the students. The project was based on the case study of the virtual enterprise “Smileybin” that was created from the High School of Alonia Pierias. The method used is come from Mathematics Science and is called “Making a Model”. In this method the established mathematical problem was the business’ way of function and the analysis of every business’ part separately. The parts were included the department of production, public relations, marketing –sales, financial and human resources. They also acquire knowledge and they are mobilized so that in the future they can develop their business ideas in a real environment. The contribution of work to science lies in the fact that a subject has been investigated that has not been very much researched in Greece and has highlighted a good learning practice on issues of innovation and entrepreneurship. Concerning the limitations of the survey, it focused on a virtual business only and perhaps considering more to lead to different conclusions
