This paper deals with the impact of the refugee refugee issue on the organization and administration of reception schools. In the theoretical part of the work reference is made to intercultural education, which provides information on interculturalism in the field of education and on the situation in Greece. Also, reference is made to the Greek educational system, and what applies to intercultural education schools in Greece. Information on refugee inflows and on the integration of migrant refugees and children into the education system in Greece is also given below. The theoretical part is completed by reference to the Refugee Host and Education Structures (DIP), the MoF's proposals on the education of refugee children during the school year 2017- 2018 and the situation in Europe. The second part of the work involves conducting a survey to explore the views of intercultural school managers on the impact of the refugee refugee issue on the organization and administration of their schools. The specific objectives of the research are to investigate the existence or not of the necessary logistical infrastructure if immigrant pupils should have the right to choose to take part in various activities of native pupils, what are the most important activities of shaping intercultural climate, and which are the most prevalent reasons why directors would try to open the school to the local community through a variety of activities. The resulting conclusions are particularly important and should be taken into account by the relevant bodies to improve the existing situation
