The contemporary means of technology have an influence on all aspects of everyday
life which is undeniable. The field of education could not have been uninfluenced by the
effect of ICT, which contributes not only to the achievement of pedagogical goals, but also
to the most effective organization and management of school units. The present research,
taking into account the increasing significance which comes from this effect, has as a
purpose the investigation of the executives’ opinions in school units (directors- associate
directors) and the teachers of Primary Education as to the exploitation of ICT in search and
management of the appropriate legislation in order for the management of the school unit
to be practiced more effectively through better organization and for the improvement of the
quality of the administrative work. The teachers’ actions in finding and using the existing
legislative framework are strengthened and facilitated by the new technologies providing
the ability of search, recovery, understanding and orderly application of information which
is related to legislation. Despite the positive impact which is recorded, there are also
obstacles which are related to the exploitation of legislation during the research approach.
The research showed the contribution of using technology in searching and managing
legislation, based on the perception that the teachers have about the usefulness and the
benefit of knowledge about new technologies trying to include them in the daily
administration to exploit them by looking for the suitable legislative framework. The
executive officers of a school unit are outlined as the ones who are responsible for
searching the legislation more often. As a result, they show more interest to the assistance
of the existing legislation in solving situations which are found to the administrative act as
well as a means of communication and assurance of the normality in a school unit
