Within the framework of the project the philosophy of the assessment of the thoracic spine has been referred and how it interacts with the adjacent elements. Many different clinical test which are tools for a physical therapist to end up with a clinical conclusion are presented through bibliographic review. Aim of the project is to give the reader a stimuli about the clinical assessment by understanding the anatomy and the facilitation of the thoracic spine and also by knowing the tissues that surround it.

| Abstract: | Στα πλαίσια εκπόνησης της συγκεκριμένης εργασίας αναφέρεται η φιλοσοφία στον τρόπο αξιολόγησης της Θ.Μ.Σ.Σ και πως αλληλεπιδρά με τα παρακείμενα στοιχεία. Μέσω βιβλιογραφικής ανασκόπησης παρουσιάζονται διάφορες μεθόδοι και δοκιμασίες οι οποίες αποτελούν εργαλεία στα χέρια κάθε φυσικοθεραπευτή για να καταλήξει σε ένα κλινικό συμπέρασμα. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι μέσω της κατανόησης της ανατομίας και της λειτουργικότητας της Θ.Μ.Σ.Σ και των ιστών που την περιβάλουν να δώσει ορισμένα ερεθίσματα στον αναγνώστη για το κομμάτι της αξιολόγησης.
