Σχεδιασμός & Ανάπτυξη ιστότοπου για την Πρακτική Άσκηση του Τμήματος Μηχανικών Πληροφορικής (Bachelor thesis)

The purpose of the currrent assignment is the creation of a website for the
support of the Internship of the Department of Engineering Informatics TE of the
Thessaloniki University of Technology.
The website created with the main purpose of informing the students of the
Department as to the statute of Internship and to facilitate the whole process as a
whole. The design of the website was done in such a way as to satisfy the
requirements of the trainee students as well as to provide easy and comprehensible
access and navigation to the visitors.
More specifically, the website includes everything the student may need
about the practice training, such as information through appropriate guides, printed
materials necessary for the practical training in electronic form, direct updating
through news releases on topical issues, as well as a table with the data of all the
employers working with the Department and the jobs they offer for internships.
Employers are also the only users who are given access to the site so they can
manage their data. It is also provided electronically the completion of the
questionnaires which are to be completed by the student, the supervisor and the
supervisor at the end of the Practice Exercise.
As website administrator, is the professor the institution has set responsible
for the statute of Internship. The administrator has full responsibility for checking
and accepting system registration requests through site features. Finally, it is
possible to view statistics and graphs from the results of the questionnaires.
This is a Web site that was designed and developed entirely with open source
software. Specifically, were used the open source programming languages HTML5,
CSS, JavaScript, PHP, the Bootstrap web framework for quick and easy
implementation as well as popular free software development tools such as XAMPP,
phpMyAdmin and the text processor Sublime Text. MySQL was also used to store
and retrieve information from the database

| Abstract: | Αντικείμενο της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η δημιουργία ενός
ιστότοπου για την υποστήριξη του θεσμού της Πρακτικής Άσκησης στο Τμήμα
Μηχανικών Πληροφορικής Τ.Ε του ΑΤΕΙ Θεσσαλονίκης.
Η ιστοσελίδα δημιουργήθηκε με βασικό σκοπό την πληροφόρηση των
φοιτητών του Τμήματος ώς προς τον θεσμό της Πρακτικής Άσκησης και την
διευκόλυνση συνολικά ολόκληρης της διαδικασίας. Η σχεδίαση της ιστοσελίδας έγινε
με τέτοιο τρόπο ώστε να ικανοποιήσει τις απαιτήσεις των ασκούμενων φοιτητών
καθώς και να προσφέρει εύκολη και κατανοητή πρόσβαση και πλοήγηση στους
επισκέπτες.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα, η ιστοσελίδα περιλαμβάνει οτιδήποτε μπορεί να χρειαστεί
ο φοιτητής σχετικά με την διαδικασία της Πρακτικής Άσκησης, όπως πληροφόρηση
μέσω κατάλληλων οδηγών, έντυπα απαραίτητα για την πρακτική άσκηση σε
ηλεκτρονική μορφή, άμεση ενημέρώση μέσω ανακοινώσεων για επίκαιρα θέματα,
καθώς και ένα πίνακα με τα στοιχεία όλων των συνεργαζόμενων με το Τμήμα
φορέων απασχόλησης και τις θέσεις απασχόλησης που προσφέρουν για πρακτική
άσκηση. Οι φορείς απασχόλησης αποτελούν και τους μοναδικούς χρήστες που τους
δίνεται πρόσβαση στην ιστοσελίδα, ώστε να μπορούν να διαχειρίζονται τα στοιχεία
τους. Επίσης, παρέχεται ηλεκτρονικά η συμπλήρωση των ερωτηματολογίων που
καλούνται να συμπληρώσουν ο φοιτητής, ο επιβλέπων καθηγητής και ο εργασιακός
επιβλέπων με το πέρας της Πρακτικής Άσκησης.
Ως διαχειριστής του ιστότοπου ορίζεται ο ιδρυματικά υπεύθυνος για τον
θεσμό της Πρακτικής Άσκησης. Ο διαχειριστής έχει την πλήρη ευθύνη για τον έλεγχο
και την αποδοχή, μέσω λειτουργιών του ιστότοπου, των αιτήσεων εγγραφής στο
σύστημα. Τέλος, παρέχεται η δυνατότητα προβολής στατιστικών στοιχείων και
γραφημάτων από τα αποτελέσματα των ερωτηματολογίων.
Πρόκειται για έναν δυναμικό ιστότοπο (Website), ο οποίος σχεδιάστηκε και
ανάπτυχθηκε εξ’ολοκλήρου με προγράμματα ελεύθερου λογισμικού (open source).
Συγκεκριμένα για την υλοποίηση χρησιμοποιήθηκαν οι ανοιχτού κώδικα γλώσσες
προγραμματισμού HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, το διαδικτυακό πλαίσιο (Web
framework) Bootstrap που βοηθάει στην γρήγορη και εύκολη υλοποίηση καθώς
επίσης και δημοφιλή ελεύθερα εργαλεία ανάπτυξης λογισμικού όπως το XAMPP, το
phpMyAdmin και ο επεξεργαστής κειμένου Sublime Text. Χρησιμοποιήθηκε επίσης
η MySQL προκειμένου να αποθηκευτούν και να ανακτηθούν πληροφορίες από τη
