This Diploma Thesis aims to analyze archival processes, such as the process of sorting, indexing, and digitizing archival material. In particular, in the first phase, basic concepts relating to archives are identified, followed by digital documents and metadata. Subsequently, the concept of contract and the notary is presented very soon, and an extensive analysis of archival processes is carried out. Finally, a detailed presentation of its digitization system is attempted by the State Archives of the Archives.
