This Diploma Thesis aims to analyze archival processes, such as the process of sorting, indexing, and digitizing archival material. In particular, in the first phase, basic concepts relating to archives are identified, followed by digital documents and metadata. Subsequently, the concept of contract and the notary is presented very soon, and an extensive analysis of archival processes is carried out. Finally, a detailed presentation of its digitization system is attempted by the State Archives of the Archives.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα Πτυχιακή Εργασία έχει ως στόχο να παρουσιάσει αναλυτικά τις αρχειακές διεργασίες, όπως είναι η διαδικασία της ταξινόμησης, της ευρετηρίασης, καθώς και της ψηφιοποίησης του αρχειακού υλικού. Ειδικότερα, σε πρώτη φάση προσδιορίζονται βασικές έννοιες που αφορούν την αρχειονομία, ενώ στη συνέχεια γίνεται λόγος για τα ψηφιακά τεκμήρια και μεταδεδομένα. Ακολούθως, παρουσιάζεται πολύ σύντομα η έννοια του συμβολαίου και του συμβολαιογράφου, ενώ γίνεται εκτενής ανάλυση των αρχειακών διαδικασιών. Τέλος, επιχειρείται μια αναλυτική παρουσίαση του συστήματος ψηφιοποίησης του εφαρμόζεται από το Γενικά Αρχεία του Κράτους, αρχειομνήμων.
