Λαπουρίδης, Κωνσταντίνος

The femoroacetabular impingement consistutes an almost new syndrome that developed during the last decades and continues to concern in orthopedics. With the passing of time, there is an increase in performance, demands and competiting in the field of sport, which cause the exhaustion of the athlete and the development of myosceletical problems. The impingement between the acetabulum and the femoral neck-head may be due to overwork (athletes), but may also be due to hereditary factors. This project focuses on athletes trying to describe effectively the pathogenesis of this condition and the rehabilitation, either surgical or conservative, based on the new researches and aspects.
