Multiple resources concerning information on Christian Orthodox Theology are disposable through the Internet. Even though researchers-users are accustomed with the use of Internet on the other hand several times they end up facing problems in retrieving reliable information resources. This results from the fact that they have not been trained to use safely advanced search and suitable tools. This is the reason why they often resort to their personal experience and choose criteria of doubtful quality in order to evaluate the information they retrieve. Because of the severity that usage of information retrieved from that kind of web sites can cause to their research, it is crucial to develop skills that help making the right choice of resources that will be used. Thus, this current thesis proposes certain criteria that would be preferable to be used in evaluating and assessing oriented sites.
