Increasing the participation of people in sporting activities, both amateur and professional, has led to an increase in the incidence of athletic muscular injuries as well as a corresponding increase in clinical and medical interest in their rehabilitation. Hamstring sprains are a form of muscle injury and their challenge may be due either to the maximum muscle load or to their sudden distension due to the absence of proper warming up. More precisely ,hamstring sprains are the highest epidemiological lesions in professional athletes and are found in accelerated sports without being excluded from external factors. So, hamstring sprains can be prevented, as well as in the event of injury, be successfully treated through physical therapy. The physiotherapist is the one who undertakes the important task of evaluation and then the design of the recovery and prevention operational program. Thus, through therapeutic means such as: cryotherapy, thermotherapy, ultrasound, electrical irritation, etc., as well as the gathering of appropriate exercise exercises, is required to formulate a specific therapeutic program which will not only allow a return to sports activities but will also eliminate the risks of relapses to athletes. Finally, the physiotherapeutic rehabilitation program should include all the necessary actions on the part of the physiotherapist, as this will determine the end result in the physiotherapist-athlete's effort for the injury.
