Libraries today are required to redefine their role in order to be able to meet the needs of the public they serve. User Experience Design can help libraries understand their users better, so that they can provide them better services and facilities. This project aims to present the process of User Experience Design, from the stage of user research to the optimization of each individual touchpoint. Furthermore, the Main Library of the University of Dundee is presented and the experience of its users is discussed. Lastly, the conclusions of this project are presented and, in addition, some suggestions are made for further study on the topic.
