The work of a headmaster in a school unit is characterized by State as a demanding work, with multiple duties. It requires people with leading abilities, experience and equipped with special skills and knowledge in order to manage its demands. The State tries the last 40 years to indicate with the most objective way the selection of executives, but without finding a stable frame to convince for her sincere intentions. This Project investigates the opinions of professors in Pieria, about characteristics and qualifications that needs a headmaster, which ways of selection they consider right and more objective and finally they proceed in a critical approach of the laws that enacted by State from 2010 until 2017 and were used in last three selections of headmasters, and also in new law 4547/2018.
