The present study aims to highlight the phenomenon of Energy Poverty in a school complex, more specifically whether this energy-poor environment in terms of the school's hygiene conditions is an a-motivational factor for teachers to perform better at school according to Herzberg's motivation theory. The first, theoretical part of the study sets out definitions of Human Resource Management, Work Satisfaction, and Motivation. Rewards and Incentive Schemes as well as Motivation theories are also presented. Within this field, we analyze Herzberg's motivation theory and explain the concept of Energy Poverty in the current period of economic downturn. In the second part of this work, the qualitative analysis is carried out. Thus, the interviews are analyzed, and the conclusions along with the energy upgrading measures of the building are presented
