Management and its components are the most important and crucial factors in running and
organizing in every organization or body made up of a multitude of people. Undoubtedly, the
functioning and organization of highest academic institutions of our country, which are the
source of scientific "birth" in every civilized country, cannot be an exception to this rule.
Besides, academic institutions are the most important indicators of the socio-economic and
cultural development of every society. In this context, considering the importance of the two
above-mentioned factors, the present study aimed at exploring the components of management,
leadership and organization, the leading styles that are widely followed in higher education
institutions through a quantitative study to executives - employees in the administrative
departments of the University and TEI of Thessaly. The study also attempts to look at employee satisfaction levels, dominant patterns, deficiencies, and whether they all relate to the
performance and smooth operation of institutions, and to which areas they have an impact. At
the last stage of the thesis, future studies are proposed to further investigate the issue
