My graduation thesis is my main occupation in the last semester of my studies in the Aesthetics & Cosmetology Department of the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. The topic I chose to investigate is alopecia and ways to fight it. The reason for choosing this topic is my personal experience, having suffered from alopecia over the last five years. Alopecia has infected either temporarily or permanently 98% of the world's population, most of whom are men. So in this diploma we will analyze the various forms of alopecia. Two of the most common categories of alopecia are androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata. As will be mentioned below, the causes of alopecia are numerous and the diagnosis of the different forms of alopecia, which is a very difficult task, requires knowledge and good understanding of the specialist physician with the patient. There are many medicines that promise to fight alopecia on the market, as well as sophisticated methods of dealing with this problem, either with prp or surgical procedures
