This thesis deals with the role of fairy tale and Children's Literature in modern Children's Libraries. It is a detailed record compared to the history and evolution of the fairy tale and Children's Literature and the use of Libraries in modern times. It is mentioned the change of the use of Children’s Literature in comparison with the development of technology in the field of Children’s Libraries and Children’s departments of Libraries.Children's books have become important tools for the creation of activities and discussions about the book and the issues that are addressed and many other activities. The continuous development of technology, the internet services, television, video games are some of the reasons why the use and structure of a Children’s Library have completely changed. Children’s Libraries are no longer a sterile reading area, but it is noticed the use of technological achievements in the library and their valuable contribution to enhancing the value of reading a book. Finally they are presented activities and ways in which the use of modern media are achieved, auxiliary in activities that promote fairy tales, Children’s Literature and generally the improvement of the relationship between a child and a book.
