The present dissertation negotiates the consumer's reaction in the environment of a restaurant and how it can be affected. At first, reference is made about the economy and the restaurant industry. Taking a structured questionnaire survey into consideration which was conducted in order to gather the results. Here are some details on the financial crisis. Information such as the meaning of the term, the situation in Greece amid crisis, referring to budget years from 2013 until 2015. Analysis is also made in the restaurant industry, as well as the institutional framework, structure and layout, the domestic market and the factors influencing consumer behavior. Thereafter, the results of the research are examined and analyzed which are intended to evaluate the atmosphere in McDonald's restaurants, with single entry tables and double entry tables with x2 test. In conclusion, I present the findings from the survey.
