Προβολέας LED 100W (Bachelor thesis)

The subject of the current thesis is the study and construction of a 100W LED spotlight. During its reading we will see the generic characteristics of LED their working principles the pros and cons of LED versus other forms of lighting and the problems we have to overcome on high power projects. We will also mention our original design approach which was to avoid the use of a transformer and instead to use X rated Capacitors to achieve the desired Voltage drop from the supply line. Afterwards we will analyze individual parts of the circuit which consists of: Transformer, full bridge rectifier-smoothing, stabilization circuit and an op amp current source for loads with one end on the supply.
