The normal function of the digestive system of the fish is the subject of the thesis. In the first chapter we will refer to nutritional types of fish describing each food type with the peculiarities of the digestive system. In the second chapter we will refer to the digestive system, particularly following detailed description of the recruitment instruments and swallowed the food as well as organs and glands that make substances that help digestion. In the third chapter we present the digestion processes (physical and chemical), followed by a description of the digestion time - emptying of the digestive tract and the pattern of nutrient absorption. Finally in the fourth chapter refer to metabolism in all three stages and in the energy metabolism.
