Thisassignment analyses the pathology of the intervertebral disc herniation, in order to present the lastest data based on scientifically proven researches, articles and writings. The new therapeutic methods, through the continuous research, specialization and technological progress, have managed to provide a solution to the problem of millions of people wordwide that suffer from this pathology. Finally, it’s society and scientific community that owe to promote sports and health educationin order to incorporate into young and older people’s mentality the importance ofrespect towards our own organism.

| Abstract: | Η εργάσια αναλύει την παθολογία της κήλης του μεσοσπονδύλιου δίσκου, με σκοπό την παρουσίαση των τελευταίων δεδομένων που έχουν προκύψει από επιστημονικές έρευνες παγκοσμίως, επιστημονικά αποδεδειγμένα άρθρα και συγγράμματα. Οι νέες θεραπευτικές μέθοδοι, μέσα από την συνεχή έρευνα, εξειδίκευση και τεχνολογική πρόοδο, έχουν καταφέρει να δώσουν λύση στο πρόβλημα εκατομμυρίων ανθρώπων που υποφέρουν από την παθολογία, με την φυσικοθεραπεία να δίνει ισχυρό παρών. Τέλος, είναι καθήκον της κοινωνίας και της επιστημονικής κοινότητας να προωθήσει με κάθε δυνατό τρόπο την αθλητική και υγειονομική παιδεία ώστε να ενσωματωθεί στην νοοτροπία μικρών και μεγάλων η έννοια του σεβασμού προς τονιδιο μας τον οργανισμό.
