Μακιγιάζ στο παιδικό θέατρο (Bachelor thesis)

Makeup is an integral part of theatre. It has its roots in the masks that were used in ancient Greek theatre, as well as in theatrical performances in China, Japan and India. Stage makeup is necessary to highlight the face of the actor and his facial expressions.
So, even in children’s theatre, where the stars are the kids, makeup is necessary. The objective of this dissertation is the presentation of theatrical makeup in children’s theatre. The most important conclusion of this study is that although stage makeup is necessary, their skin is very sensitive therefore it should be applied very carefully.
