The following thesis is working on the subject of the olive cultivation mainly in Greece. There are two types of this cultivation. The first one is called conventional while the second one biological. Therefore, our aim is to develop and study these two methods and to mention their differences. Lastly, we are mostly referring in the importance of this factor for the lives of people living in the Ilia county.

| Abstract: | Η ακόλουθη πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως αντικείμενο τη μελέτη της καλλιέργειας της ελιάς. Υπάρχουν δύο ειδών καλλιέργειες, η συμβατική και η βιολογική. Στόχος μας, λοιπόν, είναι να αναλύσουμε τις δύο παραπάνω μεθόδους και να παρατηρήσουμε τις διαφορές τους, ενώ αναφερόμαστε και στο πόσο σημαντικό παράγοντα αποτελεί για την οικονομία του νομού Ηλείας.
