The completion of the organization of school library of the 4th and 15th primary school of kalamaria (Bachelor thesis)

The subject of this thesis is the completion of the organization of the 4th and 15th Primary School of Kalamaria. In the thesis the indexing process (Library of Congress Subject Headings), classification (Dewey Decimal Classification) and the cataloging (AACR2) of books are shown followed by the introduction of documents in the automated KOHA system.
Intially, the objectives are presented and the steps that were taken to develop the thesis. Next, information is listed about the primary school of Kalamaria. Then, the operating process of the koha system is shown along with a comprehensive registration example in the fields required. Finally, there are tables in alphabetical order, first by title and then by author, title and author indexes plus all bibliographic records coded in marc21 form.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως θέμα την ολοκλήρωση της οργάνωσης του 4ου και 15ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου Καλαμαριάς. Σ’αυτή παρουσιάζεται η διαδικασία της ευρετηρίασης (Library of Congress Subject Headings), της ταξινόμησης (Dewey Decimal Classification) και της καταλογογράφησης (AACR2) των βιβλίων και στη συνέχεια η εισαγωγή των τεκμηρίων στο αυτοματοποιημένο σύστημα KOHA.
Αρχικά, παρουσιάζονται οι στόχοι και τα βήματα που πραγματοποιήθηκαν για τη δημιουργία της πτυχιακής. Στη συνέχεια παρατίθενται πληροφορίες για το δημοτικό σχολείο της Καλαμαριάς. Έπειτα, παρουσιάζεται ο τρόπος λειτουργίας του συστήματος koha και ένα ολοκληρωμένο παράδειγμα εγγραφής στα πεδία που απαιτούνται. Τέλος, υπάρχουν πίνακες με αλφαβητική σειρά πρώτα ανα τίτλο και έπειτα ανα συγγραφέα , ευρετήρια τίτλων και συγγραφέων καθώς και όλες οι βιβλιογραφικές εγγραφές κωδικοποιημένες σε μορφή marc21.
