The thesis entitled "Insects that affect aromatic and pharmaceutical plants" includes concise information about the systematic classification and the cultivation of these plants. Furthermore, it deals extensively with the compilation, the study and the research for information about insects that affect aromatic and pharmaceutical plants. Additionally, there is reference, analysis and study of the anatomical and morphological characteristics of these insects and their biological cycles. The objective of this thesis is the approach of these insects with alternative remedies, preferably with biological methods, so that there are no toxic residues left in the substances produced by the aromatic and pharmaceutical plants.

| Abstract: | Η πτυχιακή εργασία με τίτλο «Έντομα που προσβάλλουν αρωματικά και φαρμακευτικά φυτά» περιλαμβάνει συνοπτικές πληροφορίες για την συστηματική τους κατάταξη αλλά και την καλλιέργεια τους. Ασχολείται εκτενώς με την συλλογή, μελέτη και ερεύνα πληροφοριών για τα έντομα που προσβάλλουν τα αρωματικά και φαρμακευτικά φυτά. Επίσης γίνεται αναφορά, ανάλυση και μελέτης των ανατομικών και μορφολογικών χαρακτηριστικών τους καθώς και του βιολογικού τους κύκλου. Στόχος της διατριβής αυτής είναι η αντιμετώπιση των εντόμων με εναλλακτικά μέσα κατά προτίμηση βιολογικών μεθόδων αντιμετώπισης ώστε να μην μένουν τοξικά υπολείμματα στις διάφορες ουσίες που παράγονται από τα αρωματικά και φαρμακευτικά φυτά.
