The goal of this thesis was to record, show and highlight the publishing activity of Thessaloniki. In order to achieve this goal, a questionnaire that contains open-ended questions, which are addressed to bookstores and publishing houses of Thessaloniki, constitutes the methodology that was followed. Finally, another purpose of this dissertation was to analyze the process which is being conducted, from the receipt of books, to their appropriate placement in the shelves until they are sold.
