Energy consumption and environmental pollution are 2 of the main problems worldwide. The implementation of strategies to the direction of the energy consumption reduce and the hospital waste management are 2 of the actions that followed all over the world. The specific subject were chosen because hospitals are a special category of public buildings because they are accommodating patients, they operate throughout the year, every day, 24 hours and they are having plenty of electromechanical equipments and devices.
This means that hospitals are belonging in this category in which have important benefits from the implementation of such strategies because they are consuming a lot of energy, employ many employees and their buildings spreads in many acres in the area. In the direction of the creating of a “Green Hospital” it will presented all the strategies that will drive a hospital to reduce its energy consumption and transform it into a “Green Hospital”.
