This bachelor's thesis is about agrotourismin Greece. Our aim is to explain what rural tourism is, how it started in Greece and how it evolves as a form of tourism.
The work consists of four chapters. The first chapter discusses the general conceptual framework, the historical development of tourism and economic activity.
The second chapter focuses on the reasons of Development and Formats. The third chapter refers to the Agricultural Association in Greece and mainly at women cooperatives, their activities and the problems they face.
The fourth chapter includes Funding Programs and Development of Rural Tourism. The conclusions arising from the work is the most crucial point of work. Well, we will end what is the significance of rural tourism in rural areas, rural family, for the traveler and essentially what it means today.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία έχει θέμα τον Αγροτουρισμό στην Ελλάδα. Στόχος μας είναι να εξηγήσουμε τι είναι ο αγροτουρισμός, πώς ξεκίνησε στην Ελλάδα και πώς εξελίσσεται ως μορφή τουρισμού.
Η εργασία αποτελείται από τέσσερα κεφάλαια. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο αναφέρεται το γενικό εννοιολογικό πλαίσιο, η Ιστορική εξέλιξη του Τουρισμού και η Οικονομική του Δραστηριότητα. Το δεύτερο κεφάλαιο εστιάζεται στους λόγους της Ανάπτυξης του και στις Μορφές του.
Το τρίτο κεφάλαιο αναφέρεται στους Αγροτουριστικούς Συνεταιρισμούς στην Ελλάδα και κυρίως στους Γυναικείους Συνεταιρισμούς, στις δραστηριότητες τους αλλά και στα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζουν.
Το τέταρτο κεφάλαιο περιλαμβάνει τα Προγράμματα Χρηματοδότησης και Ανάπτυξης του Αγροτουρισμού.
Τα Συμπεράσματα που απορρέουν από την εργασία αποτελούν το πιο νευραλγικό σημείο της εργασίας. Καθώς, θα καταλήξουμε ποια είναι η σημασία του αγροτουρισμού για την ύπαιθρο, για την αγροτική οικογένεια, για τον ταξιδιώτη και ουσιαστικά τι σημαίνει σήμερα.
