Ικανοποίηση χρηστών για τις υπηρεσίες της Bissell Library (Bachelor thesis)

In a country, where progress is difficult to be achieved in the last few years,
due to the economic crisis, academic libraries continue their efforts to provide
efficient and effective services, enrich their collection and provide the best
possible service to their users. The situation that exists in the academic
libraries is mostly known. Due to limited budgets, it is difficult for libraries to
provide modern documents, and if they do, these documents are in limited
copies. The number of computers is small and the library staff often confined
to library requirements.
It is interesting, however, to study a different kind of academic library, which
is not only private, but it’s also the largest English-speaking library in the
Balkans. Through the analysis of the collected data, it was possible to review
the current situation and at the same time identify and highlight its main
services.

| Abstract: | Σε μία χώρα όπου τα τελευταία χρόνια η πρόοδος είναι δύσκολη, λόγω της
οικονομικής κρίσης, οι ακαδημαϊκές βιβλιοθήκες πασχίζουν να αναπτυχθούν,
να εμπλουτίσουν τη συλλογή τους και να παρέχουν όσο το δυνατόν καλύτερες
υπηρεσίες στους χρήστες τους. Είναι γνωστή στους περισσότερους η
κατάσταση που επικρατεί στις δημόσιες ακαδημαϊκές βιβλιοθήκες. Λόγω των
περιορισμένων προϋπολογισμών, οι βιβλιοθήκες είναι δύσκολο να παρέχουν
σύγχρονα τεκμήρια και αν το καταφέρουν είναι σε περιορισμένα αντίτυπα, ο
αριθμός των υπολογιστών είναι μικρός και το προσωπικό πολλές φορές
περιορισμένο σε σχέσεις με τις απαιτήσεις της βιβλιοθήκης.
Είναι ενδιαφέρον ωστόσο να μελετηθεί και ένα διαφορετικό είδος
ακαδημαϊκής βιβλιοθήκης, η οποία όχι μόνο είναι ιδιωτική, αλλά αποτελεί και
τη μεγαλύτερη αγγλόφωνη βιβλιοθήκη των Βαλκανίων. Μέσα από την
ανάλυση των συλλεγομένων δεδομένων ήταν δυνατή η επισκόπηση της
παρούσας κατάστασης και παράλληλα ο εντοπισμός και η επισήμανση των
