The main objectives of the creation of this thesis are the design, implementation and presentation of a website, of an Internet cultural guide to the Ionian Islands. This online tour provides information to the visitor of the website about the history, attractions, local products and the beaches of the Ionian Islands.The website is informative, but also entertaining, so it covers a wide range of audiences. More specifically, the content of this website is designed, on the one hand to pique the interest of those, who would like to get to know the cultural heritage and history of the Ionian Islands, and on the other hand to raise the interest of those, who would like to visit one of the Ionian Islands. Twofold is the significance of the points in which were given greater emphasis. Initially, important is the reliability of information that will be provided on the website, also important is the management of the aesthetics of the website so as to attract the visitor with the first glance and help him, in the best possible way with his browsing. The design of the site was completed in such a way that it is a handy, functional and also very interesting, online cultural tour for every Ionian island individually, and can each visitor be informed of the Ionian Islands as a whole within the same website. An important role in achieving these goals, were the tools used for the creation of this website, which are the code HTML5, the language CSS3, and the programming language JavaScript.
